Celesa's commitment to the enviroment
is evident in the efforts and investments we have made during the past five
years. We have been one of the first non wood pulps mills to transition
from the use of chlorine bleaching and offer both ECF and TCF bleached pulps.
Our black liquor recovery system is the state of the art, assuring the effective
elimination of liquid and solid pollutants, the recovery of essential chemicals
and the generation of energy. Our efforts are ongoing in the investigation
of methods to reduce energy consumption and many emerging technologies which
may improve our environmental compatibility.
